Rihanna thrilled Super Bowl LVII with a spectacular performance of a medley of her hits songs, on a stage suspended from air from the stadium’s roof, while pregnant with her second child.
The singer’s representative confirmed the news about her pregnancy after her halftime show performance that lasted almost 15 minutes.
Even though she was dressed in a red baggy suit, her tights top revealed the baby bump, that some at first speculated that she may still be carrying the weight from her first baby. But soon news of a second pregnancy went viral with fans congratulating her.
Backed by a crowd of synchronized dancers, Rihanna worked the stage, sending the fans who included various super singers such as Adele into a frenzy. Despite her pregnancy, she made some vigorous dance moves and participated in the dance routines with her dances.
In one moment, she stopped and graphed a make-up kit from one of the dancers and powdered a face, a what appeared to be a sleek move to advertise Fenty, her cosmetic company.
The tight Super Bowl match-up ended with The Chiefs beating the Eagles 38-35.

Well, the NFL teams are the main show, but Rihanna’s halftime show might become the talk of the nation if the superstar singer lives up to her reputation.
Rihanna’s highly anticipated halftime performance at Super Bowl LVII is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience for viewers worldwide. With hit songs such as “Man Down,” “Umbrella” featuring Jay Z, and “Take a Bow” – ranked as her best song by Rolling Stone Magazine – the Barbadian superstar is expected to bring an electrifying energy to the stage.
As the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles, the halftime show promises to be just as exhilarating. With the two top-seeded teams facing off in the Super Bowl for the first time since the Eagles’ victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, Rihanna is expected to take the stage and showcase her powerhouse vocals and mesmerizing dance moves.
History will be made in 2023 Super Bowl, being the first time two brothers, Jason and Travis Kelce will face each other on opposite teams. An all female pilot crew will fly over the stadium during the singing of the national anthem, a nod to women in aviation and for the first time in Super Bowl history, there will be two Black starting quarterbacks leading their teams in the championship game, taking place in Black History Month.
Patrick Mahomes will be making his third trip to the Super Bowl with the Chiefs (2019, 2020) with a ring to show for his 2019 game against the San Francisco 49ers, while Jalen Hurts will make his debut with the Eagles. The Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals and the Eagles eliminated the 49ers to reach the Super Bowl.
Rihanna’s Latest Single is Wakanda Forever’s Sound Track “Lift Me Up.”
Judging from Rihanna’s previous music videos, her halftime show promises to be sexy, vibrant, and captivating. Her unparalleled talent and iconic stage presence will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on viewers.
However, her steamy performance may draw the ire of conservatives, who might accuse the NFL of promoting a ‘woke’ agenda and making the Super Bowl family-unfriendly. But, despite the potential backlash, fans eagerly await Rihanna’s halftime show, with high hopes of seeing her deliver a performance that will live on for years.
Born Robyn Fenty, Rihanna has distinguished herself as a business mogul though her Fenty Beauty line that has catapulted her to be a billionaire and the wealthiest female music artist, boasting a $1.7 billion fortune according to Forbes Magazine.

Fans were hoping her Super Bowl performance meant she has a new album coming up soon, but she poured cold water on those hopes in an interview with Associated Press (AP).
“That’s not true. Super Bowl is one thing. New music is another thing. Do you hear that, fans?” she said, laughing, according to AP.
In May last year, Rihanna became a mother to a baby boy fathered by her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. And she also released Lift Me Up, a hit single and soundtrack for the movie Wakanda Forever.
In her interview with the AP, Rihanna said the time is right for her to perform at the Super Bowl, the largest stage in the world.
“If I’m going to leave my baby, I’m going to leave my baby for something special,” the multi-Grammy winner told the AP.
